This award was created on April 18, 2001 in honor of Elizabeth L. Gross who served selflessly as a mentor, teacher, researcher, and administrator within the Biophysics Program. Created by the students of the Biophysics Program, this award is presented each year to a faculty member within the program who demonstrates excellence as defined by the students, in mentoring, teaching, research, and overall support of the Biophysics Program.
