The Magliery Lab explores rational and genomic strategies for protein engineering and design. Nick Callahan works on using statistical analysis of naturally occurring sequences to guide discovery and characterization of epistatic relationships in the protein Adenylate Kinase, a key metabolic enzyme and model system for protein dynamics.
