My Story:

I study cell surface membrane proteins, DDR1 and DDR2 and their interaction with collagen and their affect or cytoskeleton. I use various imaging techniques including TEM, fluorescence microscopy and AFM as well as various biochemical assays to understand how overexpression of DDRs changes collagen deposition and morphology.
