Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Research Description

Research in our Lab uses structural biology (X-ray crystallography and cryogenic electron microscopy single particle analysis), immunology and virology approaches to understand the mechanisms governing glycoprotein-medicated viral entry process and protective humoral immune responses induced by natural infection and vaccination. Furthermore, we implement structure-based design to the development of vaccines and antibody therapeutics against various emerging pathogenic viruses.
