Research Description

Our main interest is to elucidate how physical factors, such as mechanical stress, influence receptor-mediated internalization from the cell surface (endocytosis). Of particular interest is studying the dynamics of endocytosis while tissues are undergoing morphological changes during developmental processes. For this purpose we develop and use advanced fluorescence live cell imaging techniques.
