David Beversdorf

Research Description:

Dr. Beversdorf has active research in noradrenergic modulation of problem solving ability and applications in autism and cocaine withdrawal, as well as problem solving ability in cocaine withdrawal, autism, and mild cognitive impairment. Functional neuroimaging is an active component of these research projects, which have received funding from NINDS and NIDA. Current research also includes development of a microelectrode array for detection of potentials referable to the cortical columns in patients undergoing placement of subdural grids for epilepsy surgery evaluation, vocational rehabilitation in autism spectrum disorder, and the role of prenatal stressors in autism.
