Mentor Faculty
Assistant Professor
Department of Surgery

Research Description:

Research in the Stacy Lab is focused on multimodality imaging techniques and medical image processing, with particular emphasis on molecular imaging approaches that allow for evaluation and monitoring of cardiovascular diseases and complications. Our translational cardiovascular imaging program utilizes a wide range of imaging modalities, including PET/CT, microPET/CT, SPECT/CT, CT angiography, and MR imaging in pre-clinical models and clinical populations. The lab develops, validates, and applies imaging strategies to non-invasively investigate and quantify pathophysiology related to a variety of conditions and scenarios, such as peripheral arterial disease, atherosclerosis, diabetes, pediatric oncology, wound healing, and tissue engineering.
