Tianmin Fu

Former Faculty
Assistant Professor
Department of Biological Chemistry & Pharmacology

Research Description:

Research in the Fu Lab uses x-ray crystallography, cryoelectron microscropy, and other biochemical and biophysical tools to understand the logic of cell signaling associated with inflammation, cancer, and neurodegenerative diseases. One area of interest is the lysosomal signaling. Using cryo-EM as a major tool, our lab started to gain insights into the molecular mechanisms of ion channels, transporters, as well as other signaling molecules on the surface of lysosome.
