Mentor Faculty
Assistant Professor
Department of Physiology and Cell Biology

Research Description:

My laboratory is interested in understanding the molecular basis of how cellular systems work at the nanoscale, with a focus on the role of myosin motor proteins and the actomyosin cytoskeleton. More specifically, we quantitatively describe the role myosins play in human health and disease by the identification, in vitro reconstitution, and characterization of their dynamic macromolecular complexes.
