Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. Biophysics is a highly integrated discipline that encompasses nearly all aspects of biomedical science, from the interaction of various forms of energy with biologically relevant molecules to the mechanical forces involved with limb movement in an intact organism. The goal of the Program is to provide an educational structure for graduate students at The Ohio State University to develop as scientists at this interface of physics and biology.
