Research Description
My laboratory investigates how G protein–coupled receptors (GPCRs) and their regulators, β-arrestins, control cellular signaling in cancer and inflammation. We will combine cryo-electron microscopy, biochemistry, biophysics, and cellular signaling assays to uncover how β-arrestins interact with and regulate components of innate immune and oncogenic pathways, including cGAS–STING, NF-κB, and JAK–STAT, as well as non-receptor tyrosine kinases. By defining the molecular mechanisms and spatial organization of these interactions, we aim to identify new therapeutic targets and guide the development of treatments for inflammatory diseases and cancer.
