Research Interests: Dr. He's interest is in ischemic heart disease, the mechanisms of injury and signalling pathways after ischemia. He also studies the mechanisms going from infarc to healing and the effects of diet on the outcomes of ischemia. The lab uses EPR instrumentation including microwave bridge technique, sample resonator design. His subspecialty is time-resolved EPR (TREPR) technique and chemically induced dynamic electron polarization (CIDEP) phenomenon in chemical and biological systems.
