Research Interests:

My research in computational biology evolves around two main subjects. One is high throughput sequence analysis, where we study genome-wide DNA methylation, RNA expression, somatic variations as well as RNA editing, cytoplasmic capping, ribosome profiling and other applications in RNA Biology. Third, I am interested in the thermodynamics and kinetics of RNA secondary structure formation, especially in modeling of single molecule experiments involving optical tweezers and/or nanopores.
